Warning Statement: Rice is a natural agricultural product. Despite the use of modern cleaning equipment, it is not always possible to remove all foreign materials. Sort and remove foreign materials before cooking.
Product Instructions
Preparation Instructions: Stove-Top: 1. Combine 1 cup rice and 2 cups water in a medium saucepan. 2. Bring contents a boil. 3. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer 45 minutes or until water is absorbed. 4. Remove, from heat. Let stand covered for 5 minutes. 5. Fluff, with fork and server. Rice Cooker: Use the same water-rice ratios as for the stove top instructions. Microwave (Cooking times may vary due to difference in altitude and microwaves. To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or drain after cooking): 1. Combine 1-3/4 cups of water and 1 cup of rice in a 2 quart microwave safe dish. Add butter and salt if desired. 2. Cover, and cook on high for 5 minutes. 3. Reduce, power setting by 50% and cook for 20 minutes. 4. Let Stand, covered for 5 minutes. 5. Fluff, with fork and serve. Difference in altitude, hardness of water and product moisture may change the suggested cook time.
